You all have been waiting for it, I know I have been. The opening video to the amazing game we are all waiting for Monster Hunter Tri!
The video gives us a glimpse of how under water fighting is going to work, though it seems to have one problem that I am going to guess. Along with fighting under water comes the new monsters, but how are we going to be able to dodge them unless we have the ability to swim unnaturally fast? Just one minor detail though. To me this looks like the way Monster Hunter should have started, the monsters have new moves that will take your breath away. Example being the Rathian type of monster clawing at you and bitting you a couple feet above the ground. The new moves, underwater fighting, new monsters, but my favorite part of the newest game.
Destructible Scenery!
Yes you heard me correct. Monsters can now bash into things while charging you and they will topple over, just make sure you aren't under it!
With all these changes to make your head spin, there is also a rumor that the monster with a red sack hanging from it's neck is the replacement of the Yain Kut-Ku. Though I am hoping they don't get rid of one of my favorite wyverns, it is always good to see changes.
I hope this made your day as much as mine, this should be fantastic.

It's going to be really different from what we are used to The water system especially...
I am really looking forward to it, the term 'social life' won't have much meaning once they game is released for the U.S.

I was wondering that too at one point... projectiles don't seem they'd work well under the tension of the water... maybe they'll have special underwater ammunition like a torpedo kinda thing

Being hit by hot steam is basically like being boiled, so I bet it hurts :/

New Video, I figured this is what the thread was about.
Anyway, may as well bring it up here as well.
Complete Weapon Types List:
Great Sword Sword & Shield Lance Long Sword Bowgun(Heavy, Medium, Light) Hammer Slash Axe
The directors have stated that they're going for a quality over quantity take by removing dual swords, bows, hunting horns and gun lances. All returning weapons have many new features such as lances and S&S using shield bashing, which causes KO damage to monsters' heads.
