Broken PSP is Broken =[

Well, its not completely broken, BUT it no longer runs off of the battery. I plug in my charger, charge it to full, it says 3 bars, then i unplug the charger, and it turns itself off, and wont turn on again until i plug in the charger. Congratulations PSP! Your no longer a Playstation Portable but a Playstation Stationary!

Stupid 5 year old psp ._.

That happened to Kindra's brother, Ark Omega - except he only had his PSP for like... a few weeks?

Haha... PSS, Playstation Stationary... well, you can atleast still play and it still works...
Maybe if you added solar energy panels!! Very Happy

hmm.. it looks like a broken battery to me.

My PSP is the other way around. cannot charge the battery.
The FUSE from DC5V blown. I fix it though... Smile

Simular thing happened to a PS2 I used to own, I had it for the longest time and I guess it just eventually wore out

I really wish it was as easy as replacing the battery, but i tried my mates battery in my PSP and it didnt work, i tried my battery in HIS PSP and it DID work. So i have the feeling there is something wrong with the pin connections inside the PSP. Nothing a bit of solder cant fix, but until i can be bothered to fix it, its gonna remain as my loyal PSS.

I have 2 psp's...sort of.

1 of them is my current one, which i managed to fix ( solder ftw ) after the battery connectors failed me.

I managed to drop the other one on a plane while it had headphones in and it snapped the sound chip and corner off of the PCB. I took it apart, managed to fix it, then a few weeks later the screen crapped out ( well, i sort of sat on it ). It still works 100%, but there is no image at all. I can still hear sound from it, i can still go through my XMB and loads games etc, but i need to buy a replacement screen.

I got my one, but two batteries, for like long durations where I can't charge it for whatever reason

I've lost track of how many spare batteries i have now. Every year i tend to do 2 or 3 14 hours flights, both ways ._.

If my batteries crap out it means i have to entertain myself in other ways, and unfortunately the way i entertain myself is illegal in public...
