I've heard so much about this anime, (especially since my friend Leticia and all her friends are massive anime fans...)
I'm not really an anime fan myself, I watch a few, but I've seen one episode of DeathNote - good anime, just not really something for me

People have compared me to that guy who holds the phone incorrectly, don't know his name, but he's weird

oh L lol yeah im not in to death note either i actually dont watch any anime this is the first one i ever watched and loved it lol but stopped watchign anime after i finished lol

all have differences
The manga and anime very similar.
Endings are different and if you are a death note freak like me you will notice tiny differences along the story LOL.

Wat i like is the story.. depth of thinking..
the drawings... DAMNEDDD they are good...
and the characters.. i must say they are deep..!!

I read the manga recently and it was so deep and you have to vigorously read each page to understand the plot, Yagami lights death was rather a shock for me, but is suppose he couldn't continuously outsmart evrybody, although i don't think Nate could have beat him without the aid of all his power, influence and other people who aided him, altogether it was a bit of a surprise but a good waste of time

Yeah, like most animes - I think they are a waste of time, in my opinion anyway... I've only seen a few worth watching all the way through

My bad I missed the 'S' in waste haha. I dont watch anime I read manga it takes like too much time to watch an episode that you could read in about 5 minutes....

Mangas usually seem to be better too, in content and everything

Yes, i love the artwork, I usually admire the artwork for about a minute before I read the next page. So i take almost twice as long to read a chapter, who reads online scanlations? I read Naruto, D.Gray man and Eyesheild 21 on OneManga and some others on manga volume.

I never understood the attraction to Naruto, I dislike every bit of it

I liked Naruto... then the Zabuza saga ended.

Anyway, as far as DeathNote goes, I liked it up until season 2. Too many unneeded twists mainly, and the ending felt like it was 'just cuz'. Though him being owned by the nub cop was hilarious.
