It does have take turn combat, but its different from others and the series tends to satirize some JRPG stereotypes at one point and travel straight to WTF-ville at others. You know you're playing a weird game when a boss fight is a giant rainbow colored pole-dancer with a satellite for a face.

Meh, that's one thing I could never get passed in anime-styled RPGs...and anime...
The sex appeal is through the roof, with like 90% of the animes I see, sometimes I wish there was less sex appeal, more actual action and story... maybe then I'd like anime more wtf

Because if I wanted sex appeal from an anime, I'd look up some hentai Very Happy

It has its fair share of perverse humor.

The story is solid, a good murder mystery plot in Persona 4. And features a time system where you have to complete certain missions by certain dates or else you'll fail, and your powers are based around your relationship with the people you know. The stronger it is, the stronger the corresponding Personas are. This setup brings out alot of individual character plots along with the central story.
